Mark With Suzy Bogguss

Another one of Mark's great guests in the form of Country Music stars was on the Morning Show Wednesday (9/5) at 9:10AM. This time it was the award winning Suzy Bogguss.

Mark talked with Suzy about her fabulous career, life growing up, current projects, and the show she is doing in our area this Saturday evening.

Suzy has produced gold and platinum hit records. In addition, she has earned awards from The Country Music Association and The Academy Of Country Music.

One of the most interesting issues discussed was Suzy earning the "CMA Hoizon Award". She said the most overwhelming part wasn't just winning it, but who she beat out. Suzy referred to a group we often refer to as well, and that's "The Class Of '89" in country music. She was up against very strong competition.

And what made the interview really special according to Mark was, the CMA Nominations came out during the interview. With the help of Mark's partner Jerry Dahmen getting the print-out of the nominees and coming into the studio to supply them to Mark while he was live on the air, Mark gave the announcement while talking with Suzy. Mark took this rare opportunity of giving the CMA nominations while talking with an artist who had experienced herself being nominated at one time. Getting her reaction was what Mark calls "priceless".
