Mark Tassler’s Gift from the Cattlemen of South Dakota

Each year the South Dakota Cattlemen's Association (SDCA) selects individuals to receive awards for their involvement in the cattle industry.

Some of the recipients are hands on working with cattle. Others are involved in various careers that are somehow connected to the cattle business.

One of the prestigious honors, is to be chosen as the "Friend of the South Dakota Cattlemen's Association".

That is given to the person the SDCA feels put forth a great effort promoting the beef industry to the public.

Mark Tassler was the choice for 2017, and that makes me very proud. And I'm even more proud of the belt buckle presented to me by the SDCA.
