Sioux Falls police say a man used a box cutter to rob a casino just before 1:15 am Wednesday morning.

Investigators say officers who were called to the Crown Casino at 1725 South Minnesota Avenue were told the robber had entered the establishment at 1:14am and demanded cash from the clerk.

He ran from the casino with an undetermined amount of cash and the clerk was not injured.

The robber is described as a white male in his late 20s, five-feet-four to five-feet-six inches tall with a thin build.

He had brown hair and hazel eyes, and he was wearing a black stocking cap with star shapes on the front, a black zippered hooded sweatshirt and a black bandanna over his face. He also was wearing black gloves, khaki pants and black tennis shoes with white soles.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Sioux Falls police at 367-7000 or Crimestoppers at 367-7007.
