If you're screaming at someone in the middle of the street for poor driving and you are hanging on to the vehicle, if they try to drive away, because you're scaring them, whose fault is that.

A video showing that exact scenario was posted on Twitter last Tuesday by a student and Kent State University in Ohio.

Fifty-six-year old Linden Adkins, a professor at Kent State, saw the driver of the a minivan nearly hit a pedestrian and cut off another driver all while texting and driving. I understand his rage at such stupidity.

While Mr. Adkins may be in the right, if distracted driver felt threatened by all of his yelling and, likely, spitting on their window, I can't say I blame the driver for trying to go. And if Mr. Adkins hangs onto the 5,000 pound vehicle he has to have some level of liability in the incident. The police agreed.

Adkins was charged with menacing, a misdemeanor, and was scheduled to be in court for it yesterday.
