Man Posing as Fake Midco Employee in Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls residents need to beware of a man walking around Sioux Empire neighborhoods posing as a Midco salesperson.

KDLT News is reporting that Midco issued a press release on Thursday, (September 14) notifying people of the fake Midco employee.

In the press release, Midco says the man actually works for a satellite services company known as Xcite. Allegedly the phony Midco employee has been combing Sioux Falls neighborhoods duping residents into thinking he is with Midco in an attempt to get inside their homes.

According to KDLT News, actual Midco employees that go door-to-door dress in Midco logo apparel, carry a Midco ID and are licensed by the city.

Midco encourages any resident who questions whether or not a person is a legitimate Midco representative, to please contact the company at 1-800-888-1300.
