Man Found Dead in Rapid City Ditch Identified

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man found dead in a drainage ditch in Rapid City, though they aren't releasing his name until his family is notified.

Employees at a car dealership discovered the body late Monday afternoon. City police and the Pennington County Sheriff's Office said it appeared that the man had been dead for several days.

Authorities say preliminary autopsy results don't show any trauma that might have caused his death. Full autopsy results will be complete in 2-3 weeks.
