Make a Difference, Have an Impact – Volunteer
There is no shortage of opportunity in the Sioux Falls area for you to have an impact on someone's life. Whether you like helping kids, working with animals, love golf, raking leaves or music and so much more, there are volunteer opportunities that can connect you with all of these things while you are changing people's lives for the better!
Right now the Helpline Center is looking for volunteers for the upcoming Lifelight Festival, the GreatLife Challenge, Kidstop Classroom Helpers, Meals-On-Wheels delivery drivers, Toy Lending Library and Food Pantry volunteers and so much more!
If you have time to give, the Helpline Center can direct you toward something you will find fulfilling while you're enriching someone else's life. Sometimes it is as simple as saying hello and delivering a meal to a shut-in, or checking someone in at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure or perhaps spending a few hours helping at Sioux Empire Smiles, a free dental clinic for children 18 and under.
The opportunities are unlimited, so pick your passion, you might just surprise yourself. By volunteering to help someone else, you'll be enhancing your own existence and teaching your children what it means to serve and truly care for others.
