Major Sioux Falls Food Giveaway on Friday

If you're in need of food, Pastor Jeff Hayes of Faith Temple Church invites you to participate in Friday's Food Giveaway!  At least ten thousand pounds of produce, bakery items and meat are expected to be given away.

So far, Faith Temple has given away over 5 million pounds of food for the past 6 years.  Pastor Hayes says the need is there and the church is working to assist residents that are struggling to buy food.  In his words, "Hunger does exist in South Dakota and Sioux Falls.  Our project is open to anyone who wants to attend the Food Giveaways.  There are no questions asked."

The Faith Temple Food Giveaway will once again take place at the new Nordstrom Johnson Building on the north side of the W. H. Lyon Fairgrounds.  The doors will not open until 3:00 PM.

The Food Giveaway kicks off at 4:00 PM until the food is gone (around 5:30 PM).  Volunteers are always needed and are welcome.  Volunteers should arrive at 3:00 PM and should be done at 6:00 PM.
