Luke Bryan is bringing Little Big Town along on his 2016 Kill the Lights Tour, and he's excited, to say the least.

"When I found out I got Little Big Town on my tour, there was champagne, because it’s so fun," Bryan recalled to The Boot and other reporters at a media event. "It’s just a stamp of, wow, what an unbelievable experience we’re going to be able to take to the fans."

The Georgia native and LBT's Karen Fairchild recently hit No. 1 with their duet, "Home Alone Tonight," from Bryan's most recent album, Kill the Lights, so having the country quartet out on the road with him provides an opportunity to create a special moment with that song at every show.

"She’s one of the finest vocalist on planet Earth," the country superstar says of Fairchild. "And the fact that we’re ... having a humongous stage moment night in and night out on my tour is something that I cannot even tell you how excited I am about, and blessed about ... It’s going to be an exciting ride. It looks really, really planned, but I promise you it wasn’t that planned."

Both Bryan and Little Big Town have earned 2016 ACM Awards nominations -- including one for Bryan and Fairchild for Vocal Event of the Year -- and won trophies at the 2015 CMA Awards, but after LBT received both Vocal Group of the Year and Single of the Year at the CMAs, Bryan hinted that they may have to change whose name gets top billing.

"If [they] keep winning awards now, we might have to flip-flop this tour!" Bryan jokes.

The 2016 Kill the Lights Tour is scheduled to kick off on Feb. 18 in Evansville, Ind. A list of all of Bryan's upcoming dates is available on his website.
