Luke Bryan and Charlie Daniels delighted fans at Daniels' annual Volunteer Jam on Wednesday night (Nov. 30), when the two paired up for a barn-burning performance of Daniels' hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia." Click play above to watch two of country music's biggest stars swap lines on a rousing rendition of one of country music's best songs.

In the video, Bryan seems positively delighted to be onstage with the fiddling legend and recent inductee into the Country Music Hall of Fame, nudging Daniels to the microphone to sing the first line of the song. From there, the duo exchange every other line, often joining up to emphasize key lines in unison.

As always, the crowd goes crazy for the raucous instrumental sections of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," performed by Daniels and his band, and so does Bryan. Viewers will see him watching in complete awe through every fiddle-shredding solo that Daniels performs; by the end of the song, he's so on fire that he rips of his jacket and throws it into the crowd!

Daniels' Volunteer Jam, which took place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, celebrated its 42nd year in 2016, boasting huge acts including by Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Travis Tritt and more. The yearly concert event is hosted by Daniels to raise funds for the Journey Home Project, a non-profit organization that helps veterans transition home after returning from tours abroad. This year's Jam raised $245,000 for the organization.
