Lorrie Morgan Works On New Album With Pam Tillis, Defends Swift

Country Star Lorrie Morgan has come out in defense of Taylor Swift. According to the Associated Press, Morgan says sure, she could write songs about her exes too. Well, I wish she would! That would make some interesting country songs.

(AP) - Lorrie Morgan pours out her heart into her music, but she probably doesn't do it the way Taylor Swift does. Morgan says people shouldn't dog on Swift for that.

She says Swift is young and making lots of money and having fun and dating -- and writing about it. Morgan says she doesn't write about her exes, but she could. Morgan also says if the people she does write about don't know it, they're "dumb."

Morgan is collaborating with Pam Tillis on an album coming out this summer.
