Loretta Lynn isn't done making music. She tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that she wants to have more hits. She says "no one says anything anymore" in songs, "they need me out there."Loretta revealed that she is working on an album with Merle Haggard. She says she wants to record a song with him that he wrote called "Today I Started Loving You Again."

We don't classify Loretta as just a country music star or even a superstar at KXRB, but as an icon. The first female country artist to earn the top award of "Entertainer Of The Year" with CMA is 80 years old. And we look forward to more music from her.
