Lonestar's new 'Life as We Know it' album is available as of June 4, and the band is giving Taste of Country readers a chance to hear the whole thing with an exclusive stream. 'Life as We Know It' is the first album with original lead singer Richie McDonald since 'Mountains' from 2006.

The band wrote nine of the 12 songs for the project and say they relished having full control for the first time in their careers. “It’s been awesome," McDonald says. "When we got back together, we all said that were gonna enjoy this time, and I think in years past we kind of took it for granted and didn’t really enjoy the moment."

The songs are a fresh approach to the classic Lonestar sound that made them one of the hottest acts of the '90s and '00s. They've sold more than 10 million records since debuting with their self-titled release in 1995 and notched 18 Top 10 singles, including nine No. 1 hits. After performing at the 2013 CMA Music Festival, the band will begin a summer tour across the U.S. They currently have dates scheduled through Sept. 28.
