The experts at travel company Lonely Planet have covered the globe, written guidebooks, put together an amazing website with an astounding amount of travel information and inspiration. Now they have chosen Western South Dakota, (specifically) as number two out of 10 on their list of "Best in the U.S. 2015" destinations.

Lonely Planet's list of ten "Best in the U.S. 2015" locations encourages people to add these places to their travel wish lists for the upcoming year. Why did Western South Dakota garner all the kudos?
