Store employees caught the man who ripped off a two pound lobster on Monday at the Hy-Vee store on 10th and Kiwanis Avenue.

"We had a guy that went in the store Monday afternoon, Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sam Clemens explains, "and asked for the lobster. He then left the store without paying for it. There were some loss prevention officers that saw him leave without paying for the lobster. They were able to stop him in the parking lot. The lobster was then returned back to the store in good shape."

Clemens says 51-year-old Lex Lauran George, a Sioux Falls transient, was arrested and charged with petty theft.
