LeAnn Rimes Lawsuit Dismissed
(AP) – An invasion of privacy lawsuit LeAnn Rimes filed is going away.
The suit was dismissed – and done so in a way that she can’t refile the complaint. Rimes had sued two Northern California women back in August, 2012, claiming they had recorded a phone conversation with her and posted it online. Rimes claimed the recording damaged her reputation, her relationships – and caused emotional distress.
An attorney representing the two women – a mother and her daughter – say the two sides have resolved their differences, and won’t say any more about the case.
