Whether it has anything to do with it being the day before Income Tax Day, I don't know. But April 14 has been proclaimed National "Moment of Laughter Day." My Grandpa used to always say, "Laughter is the magic pill for staying young."

And I'd have to agree. There's something about a good belly laugh that always makes me feel better. I'm convinced that's a big reason why my Grandma and Grandpa both lived to such a ripe old age. They always found a reason to laugh!

That's probably my fondest memory of my Grandparents. Whenever you went to visit them, they always had a smile on their face - and Grandpa usually had a joke to share. Granted, I heard most of them before, but he still made me laugh.

The next time you're at a park, or anyplace where there are kids playing, just sit and listen for a moment. I mean REALLY LISTEN. Chances are you'll hear A LOT of laughter. Why is it kids laugh, but adults rarely do? Laughter is not "age discriminatory."

Is there something in the Big Book of Instructions that says the older you get, the less you're allowed to laugh? If there is, I'll have no part of it. My challenge to you today is, find a reason to laugh! It'll not only make you feel better, but probably someone else too!
