Last Night At Huset’s Speedway

A strong field of 26 sprint cars were on hand for action Sunday night at Huset's. Gregg Bakker of Sioux Falls raced to his 2nd win of the season at the track holding off a hard running Ryan Bickett. Bickett took over the point lead with his 2nd place finish after point leader Eric Lutz flipped his car on the opening lap.

In the street stocks, five time defending champion Gary Brown, Jr. passes 9 cars by lap 6 getting out front and staying there for his 8th victory in 2012. He has the most wins in the class this year and the most in the class in the history of the speedway.

Other victories on the night included a first time win this season by Inwood, Iowa's Kenny Scholten in the B-Mods and Jim Ross of Sioux Falls had his popular cheering section wound-up as he captured his 2nd win this year in the hobby stocks.
