There's been some talk recently about women and something called 'the little pink pill', a new drug that has been approved by the FDA to help improve a gal's libido. Studies are showing that even though the 'magic pill' is supposed to increase a woman's sex drive, taking it does come with some side-effects and may not even help women 'get in the mood' at all.

The new pill is supposed to work with a woman's chemicals in her brain that control mood and appetite. However, women that are looking for a little extra 'boost in the bedroom' may also have to deal with side effects that aren't all that romantic including drowsiness, nausea and dizziness.

So while women now start to weigh options on if the new 'pink pill' should be their go to for love bonus, the editors of 'Eat This, Not That' have come up with a list of eight different foods that should give you the same effects, without all the side effects.

So if you are "Looking For Love" - Johnny Lee or thinking more Marvin Gaye "Let's Get It On", instead of going for the "little pink pill", maybe just rethink your menu.

    Pesto

One of the key ingredients in Pesto is pine nuts. Pine nuts may not sound like they would be very romantic, but they are high in zinc. That may not sound important, but women with a higher level of zinc in their body usually have a higher sex drive.

    Red Wine

Ladies, if you are looking for a way to increase your libido and get rid of any pre-romance jitters, drink a glass of red wine. Red wine is a rich antioxidant that helps relax artery walls. But remember, don't overdo the red wine, drinking to much can stop the romantic feeling before it even gets a chance to start.

    A Steak (or Burger)

If you have "lost that lovin' feeling", one reason may be because of a lack of iron in your body. A lack of iron makes you tired, which means the only thing you are going to want to do when you go to bed is sleep! Try eating a good burger or better yet, a steak.
