KXRB Features Mickey Gilley

Country Music great Mickey Gilley will always be associated with Texas and his legendary nightclub/music hall/ honky-tonk “Gilley’s. But Mickey was actually born in Natchez, Mississippi.

And talk about a musical family! Mickey’s cousin is rock and roll (and country) legend Jerry Lee Lewis. Another cousin is the televangelist Jimmy Swaggert.

Saturday night at 10 and Sunday afternoon at 4, Mickey’s music will be featured on “Country Music Greats” with Jim Ed Brown on KXRB and KXRB.com.
