Many of you might look at this headline and say, 'what?'  'Who?'  So, let's start right there. Oh, yeah...it's that guy!

This is a unique show. Jennifer Nettles is off on tour herself, so I would imagine that this show will be an opportunity to see the 'Bush' side of the duo. Anyway you look at it, Bush is a seasoned pro when it comes to entertaining. Plus we already know that he's been involved in a ton of writing, so it should make for an interesting if not eclectic type show.

This is really the kind of show that The District can shine with. Something well known, but kind of off the beaten path.

According to his website,

Bush founded Sugarland in 2002; in 2004, he and singer Jennifer Nettles exploded onto the music scene. They have surpassed sales of over 22 million albums worldwide, achieved five No. 1 singles and won numerous awards, including trophies from the Grammys, AMAs, ACM Awards, CMT Music Awards and CMA Awards. In October of 2012, they were inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

This is an interesting show for a couple reasons. Bush can write and he can perform, but this will be a chance for him to take the spotlight and center stage. It's also interesting to me because it shows that The District is open to bringing in 'different' talent.

Who knows, if this kind of music keeps getting booked, and concerts like this keep getting attended and beer's keep getting bought, maybe music critics will be calling Sioux Falls, 'Austin-Texas North' in the future.

Vast, Varied. Kickin' Country is looking forward to this show!
