LPGA Golfer Kris Tschetter will be taking her place in the South Dakota Golf Association Hall of Fame June 6th.

The South Dakota native will be inducted at the ceremony at Minnehaha Country Club.

I was drawn to follow her career early on when I learned she was close to Ben Hogan, who I still think is the greatest golfer of all time.

As the SDGA states, Tschetter won six SDGA Championships between 1979 and 1986, including four consecutive Women's Amateur championships from 1983-86. She also won the 1983 American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Tournament of Champions and qualified for the 1984 U.S. Women's Open Championship.

Tschetter will also take part in this year's Hy Vee Sanford Legends For Kids event June 8-20th.

Congratulations Kris.
