If you favor or oppose a pipeline coming through our state tonight will be your chance to be heard.

Today will be another opportunity to voice your opinion about the proposed oil pipeline that is slated to cut through South Dakota.

The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission has slated a public hearing on the Keystone XL pipeline project.

The hearing is set for 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 at the state Capitol in Pierre. It's expected to last three hours.

The pipeline would cut through South Dakota and other states to move Canadian oil to the Gulf Coast.

PUC Chairman Chris Nelson says the panel wants to hear public concerns about the pipeline project.
