Kenny Chesney Scores Seventh #1 Album

When you're mentioned in the same breath with Garth Brooks, well, you're in pretty good company.

Country Superstar Kenny Chesney is atop the Billboard album chart, marking the 7th time he's achieved that feat.

(AP) - Kenny Chesney says he can't believe the songs he carried around in a notebook in a backpack for years have resulted in a number-one record.

"Life On A Rock" has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart with sales of 152,800, according to his label. That gives Chesney his seventh number-one album. He's second only to Garth Brooks, with 8, for the country act with the most number-one albums on the Billboard 200.
