In light of pop singer Kesha's legal battle with Dr. LukeKelly Clarkson is speaking out about her own experiences working with the producer. In short, Clarkson was not a fan.

On Feb. 19, the "Piece By Piece" singer cryptically tweeted, “Trying 2 not say anything since I can’t say anything nice about a person … so this is me not talking about Dr. Luke." In an interview KIIS 106.5 in Australia, however, Clarkson was much more direct.

"A lot of artists that have worked with him don't work with him anymore for pretty good, solid reasons," she says. "He's not a good person to me. We've clashed. I can't really say anything other than that."

While Clarkson admits that she can't comment on whether or not Kesha's claims of mental, physical and sexual abuse are true, since she wasn't there, she "can remark on his character."

"Unfortunately, that poor of character -- I mean so many artists don't like you, don't like working with you -- that's not normal," Clarkson adds (quote via People).

Although Clarkson never faced Kesha's "particular situation" with Dr. Luke, she's not blind to it happening.

"I've heard a lot of girls have had similar situations," she says. "If it's true, I can't imagine working with somebody like that."

Clarkson collaborated with Dr. Luke on hits such as "Since U Been Gone" and "My Life Would Suck Without You." During her time with him, she says, he "lied a lot," and she "[ran] into a couple really bad situations." She also calls the producer "difficult to work with" and "kind of demeaning."

"Even the last time I worked with him I only worked with him because literally I got blackmailed by my label," Clarkson notes. "They were like, 'We will not put your album out if you don't do this.'"

The expectant mama recently appeared on American Idol, and gave an incredibly emotional performance. She brought the crowd, judges (especially Keith Urban) and herself to tears -- and received a standing ovation.
