John Prine has announced the release of his first new album in over a decade: The Tree of Forgiveness will be out on April 13. Readers can press play above to listen to the lead single from the project "Summer's End," which premiered on Feb. 8.

Recorded in Nashville at RCA's Studio A, the album was produced by Grammy Awards winner Dave Cobb and features special musical guests Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, Amanda Shires and Cobb himself on various instruments. The Tree of Forgiveness will be released on Prine's own label, Oh Boy Records.

Prine has also announced an extensive tour schedule across the globe for 2018; he'll share the stage with artists that include Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price and Langhorne Slim, among others. Concert ticket purchases include a download of The Tree of Forgiveness.
