Jimmy Buffet’s Restaurant Margaritaville Set to Open at the Mall of America
Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville will be opening up its first location in Minnesota. The full-service restaurant and entertainment space will be located on the third level, near the recently relocated Rainforest Cafe at the Mall of America. The massive venue will comprise of a restaurant, “multiple bars,” a performance stage and a retail store, promising a selection of burgers, nachos, fried chicken, shrimp and, naturally, margaritas.
Jimmy Buffett opened his first Margaritaville in Key West, Florida in 1985. He has since opened 23 Margaritaville locations around the world, with one more in San Antonio due to open soon. Most of the restaurants are in the U.S., though there are others in the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, Panama and Australia.
