Do you love honey? If you do, you'll find this story interesting.

We ran into Jerry Hayes in Kansas City at the National NAFB Convention. Jerry, a former school teacher, got involved in the study of bees.

Jerry has brought his knowledge of the bee keeping industry to Monsanto. They are working on a problem with a particular parasite that is attacking bees.

I asked Jerry to explain the situation. He said, "We hope there's an answer, we're working very hard on it." Jerry tells what it's all about in the interview.

We also talked about how South Dakota is a resting place for bees. Jerry says, "They go to South Dakota to rest and make that wonderful honey crop."
