South Dakota State wrestling fans will have plenty of opportunities to see the Jackrabbits in action this season.

The 2014-15 schedule has nine home dates on it.

In a school press release, head coach Chris Bono said:

We are excited to have nine home dates. Our fans at Frost are going to see some great wrestling this season.

The Jacks open the season hosting the 22nd Annual Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open on November 2nd in Brookings.

Later in November, SDSU heads to Oklahoma State and later to Drexel and the Keystone Classic in Philadelphia.

Coach Bono said:

The East Coast road trip in late November is going to help us get ready for the NCAA's. We are going to wrestle a good Drexel team that beat us at home last year, along with seeing good competition at the Keystone Classic.

One of the highlights of the schedule comes in late November when the Jacks host Wisconsin in the Badgers first-ever trip to Brookings.

SDSU and Augustana will once again wrestle at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls on December 7th followed by the second-annual Battle for the Border Bell at North Dakota State on December 14th.

Bono said:

Last season the Pentagon was electric. We are looking forward to continuing the rivalry with Augustana and the Pentagon is the perfect venue for it.

This year's schedule features opponents from the Big 10, Big 12 and Pac 12.

NDSU will host the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships March 7th, while St. Louis will host the 2015 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships March 19th-21st.
