You can call them greedy if you want, but South Dakota State has no interest in being co-champions in the Summit League in 2014, and they need at least one more win to guarantee that won't happen.

The Jackrabbits begin the week 11-1 in conference play, two games ahead of IUPUI with two to play.  One SDSU win or one Jaguar loss clinches the third straight outright crown for the Jacks.

Last week, South Dakota State ran its' current win streak to three with a win at home over North Dakota State.

In the game against the Bison, both teams struggled with poor shooting in the first half, but in the second it was all SDSU, as the Jacks shot 55 percent and outscored NDSU by 20.  Chynna Stevens led the way with 18 points in 17 minutes.

SDSU head coach Aaron Johnston told me the NDSU rematch felt a lot like the first meeting between these two last month in Fargo:

The final weekend finds the Jacks on the road, starting Thursday at Denver, and coach Johnston is reminding his team there's still plenty to play for:

Tipoff is 8:00pm Thursday in Denver.
