It’s Back To School Time, Even For Country Music Star Scotty McCreery

(AP) - He may be a big man on campus. But former "American Idol" star Scotty McCreery says he wants his peers at North Carolina State to look at him as just another student.

He is a sophomore at the school this year - and says he is more at ease than he was during his first year.

He's to perform Saturday at Welcome Week for the school.
