It’s a Family Affair When Country Music Hall of Famer Roy Rogers Brings Dale and the Kids to the Perry Como Show

He was a hero to millions of kids everywhere. And I imagine, truth be told, millions of adults, too.

When you think of the name Roy Rogers, so many things come to mind. Westerns. Good guy versus bad guy (and, of course, the good guy always won!). Lunch boxes. Six shooters. Dale Evans.

And, without a doubt, Trigger.

These days it may seem quaint, even corny or old fashioned. But that's OK. For many of us, it seems warm and smiling and harkens to a simpler day.
