The Space Race.

To many it is now, of course, ancient history.  Something that perhaps is read about in a school text book.  Names from the past, alongside Washington, Lincoln and Roosevelt.

For others of us, it was magical.  As kids, we not only revered names like Glenn, Shepard, Lovell and Armstrong, we wanted to be them.

And I've always wondered just how much Tang was bought because of the space program.
