A group of men in Sioux Falls, in cooperation with the Sioux Falls Men's Slowpitch Association, is working to form a 50-and-over men's slowpitch league for this summer.  At this time they have six managers who have agreed to head it up.

A meeting is scheduled for Tuesday night, March 18th, at the Starz in Sioux Falls to talk more about the possibility.  Starz is located at 2209 W. 57th Street.  The meeting will begin at 7 pm for players or teams interested in playing.

At this point, games would be played in Sioux Falls on Thursday nights with start times at 7 pm and 8 pm.

If you're interested in joining, or putting together a team, but can't attend Tuesday's meeting, contact the Sioux Falls Men's Slowpitch Association or Jack Kolbeck at 605-366-7947.

If there's enough interest, the league would be an eight week season starting on June 5th and ending on July 24th, with a possible state tournament on the weekend of July 26th and 27th.
