Huron Woman Accused Again of Assault on Law Officers
HURON, S.D. (AP) — A Huron woman who spent time in the South Dakota State Penitentiary for assaulting a law officer is accused of doing it again.
KOKK radio reports that 33-year-old Kristee Entzel allegedly assaulted officers during an Aug. 30 traffic stop. She faces two misdemeanor charges and two felony counts of assaulting a law officer.
Entzel made her initial court appearance Wednesday. She did not enter pleas. Defense attorney Jeff Burns requested and received a preliminary hearing that's scheduled for Sept. 22.
Entzel was convicted of assaulting a law officer in 2011 and sentenced to 1 ½ years in prison.
