You have two choices for learning how to spend your precious cash. One is to go by trial and error until you're broke. Or you can go with the wise selection. Attend a three-session workshop presented by Siouxland Libraries in Sioux Falls, South Dakota over the next three months.

“Credit Basics” is set for 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Ronning Branch of the Siouxland Libraries located at 3100 East 49th Street. The session will cover an overview of credit scores and reports, establishing good credit, debit versus credit cards, and the perils of overextending financially.

The second session, “Money Smarts,” at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 6, moves to the Oak View Branch at 3700 East Third Street. Learn the pros and cons of renting or buying a place to live, paying off credit card bills, and shopping. Learn how to become a smarter spender and saver!

Then it’s back to the Ronning Branch for “Holiday Spending” at 7:00 PM on Thursday,
November 3. This session will focus on planning for a joyful holiday season without over committing time, money or especially, credit cards.
