If you want to look sexy and get the girl? Then drop the smile and instead look brooding and worried.

That's the scoop from University of British Columbia investigators, who surveyed over 1000 women. The study was headed by professor Jessica Tracy.

Men who smiled were considered fairly unattractive by women. The study found that women are attracted to guys like James Dean, the guys who are flawed and are tortured by it.

But to land a man, women should take the opposite approach, advised Dr. Tracy. 'Smiling is by far the most attractive expression for women.'
