Here's a 'Randy Rule Of Life': The world would be a better place if we all heard a little more great Bluegrass music!

The genre' is largely ignored by country music radio anymore. I suppose it's considered too hillbilly, too country, too twangy, too backwoods.

Which is, of course, all the reason's I like it!

There's a new single called 'Runnin' Water' by Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road, featuring the Kentucky Headhunters. Whew! That's a lot of names in one sentence. For all that, it better be good. And it is!

Many of us are familiar with the great sound of the Kentucky Headhunters, but if you're pretty much strictly a 'country' fan, you may not know Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road. Well, if you have a traditional Bluegrass fan friend, they certainly know them!

Hailing out of North Carolina, Lorraine won the 2015 Female Traditional Vocalist of the Year Bluegrass award, Carolina Road member Ben Greene won the Banjo of the Year Award and the group took home the Single of the Year.

But enough talk. Let's get to toe-tappin' with 'Runnin' Water'!
