Classic Cartoons: He’s Popeye The Sailor Man!

Saturday Morning cartoons.  It's an American institution.

When I was growing up, I loved them all.  Remember 'Quick Draw McGraw'? 'Underdog'? 'Mr. Magoo'?  On and on.

Fred and Wilma, George and Jane Jetson.  Of course, Huckleberry Hound!

But this guy may have been the best, or at least the longest running!

We used to see Popeye and Olive Oyl and Wimpy and Bluto (sometimes Brutus!) and Swee' Pea every Saturday morning.  But that's not all.  There were comic books and they'd show up before a movie too!

Take a trip back, this one happens to be from 1956.  Oh...and be sure and eat your spinach!
