Voting in the upcoming Tuesday November 8th election has the potential to be very time consuming.  If you do these two things before you go to vote it will save you a lot of time on election day.

I was having a conversation with my friend Ellie Highstreet and she made these important points:

There are 10 questions on the ballot this fall. There is a link to a pamphlet from the South Dakota Secretary of State with the official language that will be on the ballot and both sides of each of these issues. Please read and share with your friends and family.  The language can be tricky on these questions so please be prepared when you cast your vote!

Here is that link to 2016 Ballot Questions that will better explain things for you.

Also, unless you want to spend a ton of time in the voting booth download a sample ballot, do your research, fill it out, and take it with you on Nov. 8th.

Here is the link to where you can download a Sample Ballot for each of South Dakota's 66 Counties.  Scroll down on the page and enter in your name, county, and date of birth.

Remember, voting is not only your privilege and right it's your duty.  God Bless America!
