HARRISBURG, S.D. (AP) — Residents in the Harrisburg School District near Sioux Falls have overwhelmingly approved a $25 million bond issue.

The money will pay for a new elementary school, a high school addition and improvements to other facilities.

Eighty-four percent of the 1,054 voters in Tuesday's election favored the proposal. Construction is to start in the spring, with the new facilities ready by the start of the 2016 school year.
