The Great Plains Zoo and Delbridge Museum has to be part of your summer plans.

The main attraction this summer is the koala bears, but there are over 1,000 animals everyone in the family will love to see.

On Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM it's Hy-Vee Day at the Zoo. Not only will you get to tour the zoo, but there will be additional fun family activities, up-close animal encounters, a stilt walker, face painting, visits from the Zoo's mascots and more.

Hy-Vee will also provide a free lunch.

Don't forget to stop by the Hy-Vee Face-to-Face Farm. Kids and adults can feed goats, ride a camel or kiss a sheep with six horns.

The event is free with paid Zoo admission.
