Great News For Sioux Falls

Teri Schmidt of the Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited about several events that will take place in Sioux Falls.

"We have the National Association of State Aviation Officials holding their national conference here this weekend.  Over 200 registrants will be coming in from all over the country.  It's the first time the group will be in South Dakota."

But, that's not all!  "The first week in October, we have the small market meetings conference which is a convention and trade show for meeting planners who are looking for places to hold conventions and meetings of all kinds.  We are expecting about 107 meeting planners from all over the U.S.  This is an incredible opportunity for Sioux Falls to sell itself---so that those meeting planners can go back home and chose Sioux Falls as a host city for their groups in the future."

Both groups will be meeting at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
