PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — The Chamberlain Police Department and the McCook County Sheriff's Office have been awarded grants to help fight illegal drugs.

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says the money comes from the Drug Control Fund, which contains money seized during drug arrests.

The Chamberlain Police Department is getting $21,500 for a drug dog and related costs to be used in drug investigations.

The McCook County Sheriff's Office is getting $7,500 for a drug dog.
