Governor Orders Flags at Half-Staff for Former Lawmaker
PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard is ordering flags to fly at half-staff at the Capitol in memory of former state lawmaker Robert Sivertson.
Siverston died last week at the age of 91. He was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 1970 and served three terms.
Daugaard has ordered that the flags be lowered on Monday, the day of Sivertson's funeral.
