Governor Daugaard Agrees To Jump Out Of A Perfectly Good Airplane: Again
Governor Dennis Daugaard, a normally very conservative gentleman with taxpayers money and in his personal life, recently agreed to skydive as part of a fund raiser.
The orginal jump was set for Aug. 15th, but was delayed because of unfavorable weather. The new date is Wednesday Aug. 28th at 6 P.M..
The skydive is with DeLon Mork, operator of the Madison Dairy Queen. The Governor said if the restaurant sold 32,000 Blizzards on Miracle Treat Day to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, he would take the plung. Mork and the restaurant surpassed their goal by selling 38,412 Blizzards.
According to the Governors’s staff, photos of the event will be available Wednesday night about 9 p.m.
We remind the Governor to keep his mouth closed on the way down. Bugs, you know. Also, we wish him a safe and soft landing.
