(AP) - George Strait's two-year farewell tour will end in a place better known for kickoffs: the stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play.

Strait held a news conference at AT&T Stadium to announce the last stop on his The Cowboy Rides Away tour will be at the stadium with the huge video screen. He is retiring from the road - but still plans to do more studio albums.

The farewell to touring tour begins January 9 - and includes stops in Nashville, Los Angeles and Chicago. He'll be appearing in Omaha January 17.

Among the acts appearing with him include Merle Haggard, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow and Ronnie Dunn.
