The legendary George Strait is bidding farewell to life on the road one show at a time on the Cowboy Rides Away Tour, and understandably, it's an event every fan wants to experience. Unfortunately, at Friday's (Jan. 10) show, some ticket holders left in extreme disappointment after they weren't let into the venue.

Strait's concert at Austin's Frank Erwin Center went off without a hitch, but there were several ticket holders who were turned away at the entrance. According to local station KXAN, some people's tickets would not scan, and thus, they were denied entry.

Brenda White, a fan who purchased her ticket from StubHub, was upset by the incident. "I feel very cheated. I mean, this is George Strait's last tour, last concert," she tells the news station. "I've been watching him since 1982. This was so exciting, and we came all the way here."

Although White called StubHub and they agreed to issue her a refund, it still doesn't take away the disappointment of missing out on what is most likely the last Strait show in the capitol city.

Strait has alluded to the fact that he may be riding back in at some point and isn't selling his tour bus just yet, but if the Cowboy Rides Away run is his last full tour, the fans who missed his show in Austin definitely missed out, all due to a technological error.

The icon's final show is scheduled for June 7 in Arlington, Texas.
