A new report of an illness linked to raw dough has been issued.  General Mills is expanding a nationwide recall.

The recall is due to over 10 million pounds of flour that may contain a strain of E. coli that the Centers for Disease Control say can be fatal.

People infected experienced bloody diarrhea and abdominal cramps days after consumption. Seniors, small children and people with compromised immune systems are most at risk.

General Mills issued an initial voluntary recall June 1st and has now expanded that recall.  Health officials warn consumers to throw out any of the recalled flour.

Here is a list and pictures of affected Gold Medal products.
