Free Pumpkin Festival at Riverview Christmas Tree Farm

Bring the family to the pumpkin festival at Riverview Christmas Tree Farm. Eight-thousand pumpkin seeds were planted in June. There are two huge pumpkin patches freckled with pumpkins that would make Charlie Brown proud.

Riverview Christmas Tree Farm is located at 48392 278th Street in Canton. Head south on Highway 11 to 276th Street and follow the signs to the farm.

This perfect family day of fun includes pumpkin picking, free pumpkin painting, free inflatables, hay rides, petting zoo, craft vendors, games, pumpkin slingshot, Riverview coffee, beer garden, South Dakota wine, concessions and big screen TVs so you can watch the game.

The event is the first and second weekend in October, October 1 and 2 and October 8 and 9, 2016. Hours are 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday and 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Sunday.

Riverview Christmas Tree Farm was started in 1989 by Bill and Darlene Keizer who recently sold the business to former employee Todd Gannon and his wife, Shari.
